Birla Mandir also called as Mini Tirupati, where the presiding deity is Sri Lord Venkateshwara, is a sacred temple where devotees throng in large numbers and the numbers become high especially on Saturdays and Sundays. It is built on Naubath Pahad, the temple is made of white marble. The Birla Mandir is built by the industrialist group Birla Foundation. Nearby the temple has Birla planetarium and science museum.

A group of tombs lies around the lush, beautiful, landscaped gardens. The tombs were designed and constructed by Qutub Shahi rulers. It was built in an Indo-Persian style, that have domed structures built on a square base surrounded by pointed arches.There are seven tombs in total, all of which are dedicated to the kings of Qutub Shahi Tombs.

one of the famous monuments located in the heart of old city in Hyderabad was built by Muhammed Quli Qutub Shah in the year 1591. When you move up to the Charminar if offers great view of the city from its four minarets (towers). The structure of Charminar is made of granite, limestone, mortar, and marble. Many tourists as well as local people regularly visit this historical monument.

Golconda fort originally a mud fort built under Kakatiya kings during 13th century. Later it was converted to granite under Qutub Shahi kings. The Qutubs designed a great acoustical system in such a way that a hand clap sounded at the grand portico which is near the fort’s main gates can be heard somewhere near the top of the fort. One more important thing about this fort is that Kohinoor Diamond was found here.

The only lake which is in the heart of the city. Also called as Tank bund, it is a beautiful lake which is spread across 24 square kilometers. It was created by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wal in 1562, during the rule of Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. A Buddha statue is built in the middle of the lake, which is a major attraction for speed boat lovers.

Paigah tombs or Maqhbara Shums Ul Umra are the tombs constructed in the year 1787 by Nawab Taig Jung Bahadur. The architecture is a fusion of Islamic and Rajputana styles. It is spread over 30 acres and is noted for its exemplary workmanship, that it is often compared with Taj Mahal. Here there are tombs of several generations of Paigah nobles.It is situated in Pisalbanda on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Mecca Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India. The word mecca is used as the bricks used in the construction of this masjid are brought from Mecca, the holiest city in Saudi Arabia. It took about 8,000 workers to build the mosque. The construction was started under Qutub Shahi Kings but it was completed by Aurangazeb.The graves of the families of Asaf Jahi kings are within the periphery of the mosque.

The uniqueness of this museum is that the items collection is done by only one man, Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III (1889–1949).It is the third largest museum in our country in terms of one man collection of antiques and items.
