Doctors Day

The Doctor's Day is celebrated on July 1 all across Indian to honor the famous doctor and the second CM of Western Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. He was born on July 1, 1882 and passed away on the same time time in 1962,aged 80 years. Dr Roy was honored with the country's highest civilian, Bharat Ratna on Feb 4, 1961.

Every year Doctor’s Day is celebrated in India on the 1st of July. This observance satisfies a need to demonstrate the physicians and Doctors in our lives how essential they are to us and how invaluable their therapies are that treat us. The celebrations are a sign of the regard that they control in the lifestyles of their patients and thus obligate them to meet up with their obligations as well.
There are several ways that this day is noticed, such as including the Physicians by their patients with greeting cards, flower arrangements. Special conference are often organised to respect the day and respect doctors for their activities. Commemorative meals can also be organized by medical centers .
