Ram Pothineni (Ram Pothineni; born on May 15, 1987) is an indian film actor of the South Native indian movie industry. He comes from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Personal lifestyle

Ram is the son of Murali Pothineni, the sibling of noted movie producer Ravi Kishore Pothineni, famously known as Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. He was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, but was brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He did his education at Chettinad Vidyashram and St.Johns University, Chennai.

Career

Ram made his first appearance in 2006 with Devadasu and the movie went on to become a smash hit, running for 175 days in over a dozen centers. His second movie, Jagadam was directed by Sukumar. Though it did not do well at the box office, it obtained crucial popularity.

He then showed up in Ready together with Genelia D'Souza directed instructed by Srinu Vaitla with the movie becoming a huge success, prompting remakes into other Native indian 'languages' and catapulting him to the big league During 2009, he had two releases, Maska and Ganesh Just Ganesh, the latter was not effective at the box office. Maska had one of the greatest openings at enough time, gathering over 2.5 crores on the starting day and recovering its investment within the first weeks time. Truly, Ram had only one launch, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, produced by Dil Raju and directed by Srinivas. Ram's next film Kandireega was a big smash hit of 2011 and Ram became the man of the masses along with his lover boy image.

Ram next newest release was Endhukante Premanta with Tamannaah, directed by Karunakaran and produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. The film was shot in the wonderful luxurious places with a large budget but it was to one of the disasters of the season. In 2013, Ram had yet another release, Ongole Githa with Kriti Kharbanda directed by Bhaskar and produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad. The film was released on Feb 1, 2013 and had a Reasonable begin at the Box Office. He is currently working in the remake of Bol Bachchan with Daggubati Venkatesh which would be directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar
