The NTR memorial trust is conducting a Swara Veda music concert on November 11th to re-focus national attention on charity and social service.
Briefing newsmen at NTR Bhavan on the program scheduled at the Gachi Bowli stadium. Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, managing trustee of the NTR memorial trust, said that the mission of the program was to spread awareness on charity as a way of life to service the society.
The Managing trustee said the proceeds from the concert will be spent on education activities of the Trust but the focus was more on promoting charity and voluntary service in society.
He said eleven celebrated instrumentalists will participate in the program synchronizing with the end of the First world war on November 11th, 1918.

1. Maridangam - Sri. Dr. Yella Venkateswara Rao
2. Drums - Sri. Sivamani
3. Santoor - Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya
4. Violin - Sri. Vidwan Kumaresh
5. Sitar - Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan
6. Saxaphone - Sri. Kadiri Gopalanth
7. Mohan Veena - Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt
8. Flute - Sri Praveen Godkhindi
9. Tabla - Pt. Subhankar Banerjee
10. Ghatam - Sri. Giridhar Udupa
11. Sarod - Pt. Tejendra Narayan Mazumdar
Sri Naidu said that as part of the event 11 NGOs will be felicitated along with 11 prominent donors for the NTR memorial trust. On the same occasion at the rate of two NGOs per district and 6 from Hyderabad will also be honored for their contributions to the society. The Trust will honor the social activists for their work towards society every year, he said.
Sri Naidu also highlighted the achievements of the NTR memorial trust in the realm of health care, blood bank, education and also providing relief and rehabilitation to affected in floods, cyclones and droughts.
